Apple has been cranking out some apps in the last 24 hours. Today we just found a new iPad app for watching all of the Apple movie trailers. You can download the free iPhone and iPad version on the App Store where it is called iTunes Movie Trailers. So if you like me I can spend tons of time just watching all the high quality movie trailers on my Apple TV so this is a welcome iPad app. Also, we really like that this iPad app shows you film dates of release and even local movie times showing in your area. Apple co-founder and and former CEO Steve Jobs has passed away today at the age of 56. Apple released the following statement on the Apple website:
Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple. This Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 12 iPad app normally goes for $6.99 but is being discounted today in keeping with the PGA TOUR Championship, which is being play this weekend at East Lake Golf Club here in Atlanta.
One of the best iPad apps that compares to Angry Birds was just released a few weeks ago called Beaver’s Revenge. This iPad app has done a terrific job in designing their graphics which look incredible on my iPad 2. If you’re like me you’ll enjoy this slingshot type of gameplay.
