TomTom GPS now for iPad
TomTom just updated its iPad app for turn-by-turn navigation to be optimized for the iPad. Which means you’ll be able to view the maps on a 10″ iPad display for driving navigation. This is good news for those of you who have an iPad 3G version. I plan on using a kit to attach my iPad to my console for easy viewing. Another nice feature is that your iPad 2 can be tethered through an iPhone that can all for GPS sharing between iOS devices
TomTom boasts that you can get optimal performance from this app on your iPad display compared to the small iPhone 4 display. This iPad app works with a full-screen iPad display that shows you driving view and Advanced Lane Guidance images at the same time. TomTom offers connected services in-App or easily transfer your existing subscriptions when you want to go bigger you just need to move your TomTom navigation app to your iPad tablet.
