This feature-packed Gardening app for iPad also tracks the plant’s in your garden in a variety of ways. First, this Gardening iPad 2 app takes inventory of where you live, your climate, and the current season. If you live in the USA, then simply enter your zip-code to set your region in the Gardening Toolkit iPad app and it will recommend for you a preferred hardiness zone with a list of suggested plants for your garden. You can set up multiple gardens here is where you will keep track of specifically what is in your garden. Once you’ve added a plant to My Garden the app will advise you on when to plant and all the phases of seasonality with each plant. With the use of your iPad 2 on board camera, you can easily upload a picture of a plant to add to your plant database. You’ll be able to keep notes and create your own to-do list for your garden.
Gardening Toolkit HD continues to expand it’s list of more than 1000 herbs, flowers, fruit and vegetables. The encyclopedia in this app for iPad has tons of images and details on flower colors, plant dimensions, light requirements and links to how-to-grow resources online.
The design of this interface for the iPad tablet is beautiful and cheery with rich graphics that are pleasing to the eye and easy to navigate. If you are in to gardening then we think you’ll find this to be one of the best iPad apps out there. Get it on the app store for $3.99.
