We keep hearing and watching old footage of interviews with the late Apple CEO-Steve Jobs. But Robert Cringely teases us in this video with some lost footage of a Steve Jobs interview in 1995. Now “The Lost Interview” is coming to theaters on November 16th and will also be available via on-demand programming.
Today Apple had an event the celebrated the life of Steve Jobs at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, CA. This was a private celebration that was not attended by the media or general public. This event was planned by Apple to also help bring about some closure to the loss of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. From Twitter we pickup news that it was a very emotionally moving moving ceremony. In the picture above CEO Tim Cook delivers a speech. We hear that Norah Jones, Coldplay, Al Gore we also had a moment to honor the life of Steve Jobs. We would all love to see footage from this event so we can find comfort as well. Many of us find ourselves surprised at how much we’ve thought about this man that we’ve never met and know very little about personally. I think many of us long time Apple fanatics would like some help with closure also.
Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.
